  • My maple salmon was TO DIE FOR. It was amazing and I was so excited that one of the veg was in season fiddleheads. Yum. They took the tough stalk off too. I loved my meal. My hubby though had a burger and we actually could barely see the patty. Maybe they can work on that :)

  • Stayed at the Fundy campground and wasn't sure where to have dinner, Sapranos is by far the best place to have dinner in Alma! It was so delicious, the pizza had loads of topping and it was so fresh and very homey inside. They are so friendly and really make you feel at home. I would recommend this restaurant 100%!

  • After my last experience with random local cuisine in Maine, I was hesitant to walk in. I was on my way back to Saint John from Enrage Lighthouse when I came upon this restaurant. I couldn't get a connection so I wasn't able to check reviews in advance. But I saw a TripAdvisor sticker on the door and I gave it a shot. The food was spot on, deserving of the expensive pricing. I had the day's lobster catch and it was incredibly good, not to mention fresh. I also had a pound of fresh mussels with a white wine sauce. I finished it in record time. If you're a customer, there is even free Wi-Fi. The service is also good - my waitress was friendly and even tried to create conversation. She was also very attentive to service. Apparently, the place doubles as a boutique hotel as well so it's something for people to consider if you're visiting from out of town. Definitely recommend with 5 stars! A word of caution though, if it's raining in the area, there will likely be thick fog for the route that Google selects to get you back to the Trans-Canada highway. There are no street lights for approximately, 98% of the way. Darkness, fog, and rain are not a good combination. Plan in advance!
